The Laundry Box

     70% of incoming freshmen to colleges have their parents do their laundry.  82% surveyed will pay to have their laundry done if they lived on campus. The Laundry Box, which won the University at Buffalo's Panasci Technology Business Plan Competition 2nd prize award, is a completely automated, touchscreen, point-of-sale drop-box that facilitates the provision of laundry services provided by Dorm Mom, a related company.  

     Dorm Mom www.dormmom.com , which had revenues of over $200K last year with little to no investment, believes the Laundry Box is a game changer that puts them in direct partnership with the University.  The Laundry Box was recently installed at the University at Buffalo with 20% of residents signing up within two (2) weeks of installation.  The Laundry Box has standing orders for more installations for the fall semester at other colleges.
