The StadiumPark app is "'EZ-PASS for stadium and arena parking." It is a quick and easy solution which allows it's users to pay for their stadium and arena parking using their phone. The app works in one of two ways: 1. The user shows a unique QR code to a parking attendant who then scans the code with a mini-iPad or 2. the user is able to open a parking gate upon entry using their mobile device. StadiumPark's gate opening technology is patent pending and has significant value in licensing opportunities.
StadiumPark focuses only on stadiums and arenas, aiming to be the best payment solution in this multi-billion dollar niche market, which is ripe for disruption. The app provides reciprocal benefits to both venues and fans. Fans no longer have to carry cash to events or wait in long parking lines. Operators can bring in larger volumes of cars in a more efficient manner and reduce shrinkage associated with high volumes of cash transactions.
StadiumPark will be launching at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo on January 13th when the Buffalo Sabres take on the Detroit Red Wings.
